Location: RemoteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $33.00 - 36.97 per hourWe are seeking a highly skilled remote Writer/Communications Specialist to execute strategic communications initiatives in support of our client’s major goals.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned corporate communications professional with hands-on experience in interviewing, researching, and writing editorial content for print, email, and digital platforms. Candidates must excel at writing for an external audience and have a portfolio that showcases their work.

Responsibilities:

Create compelling content that fluently weaves key marketing messages and brand positioning into storytelling.
Conduct interviews and translate complex ideas into clear, customer-friendly calls to action.
Write and edit content with a strong command of AP style.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure cohesive messaging for digital, social, and print communications.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Track and prioritize communications tactics and deadlines to ensure timely execution.
Maintain performance metrics and present results to internal stakeholders.
Create systems for internal stakeholder accountability, including goal setting, feedback collection, and sign-off procedures.
Commit to producing high-quality work aligned with the company’s core values and compliance guidelines.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements by engaging with key support services and business areas.

Qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 3 years of experience
Passion for writing.
Can lead and advise a wide range of individuals and groups on editorial best practices.
Experience building email, web and/or social media communication strategies that leverage CRM systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Team player.
Results- and service-oriented with a passion for creativity and innovation.
