We are seeking an experienced sales professional for our Southeast Territory which includes the states of Georgia, Alabama, Eastern Tennessee.

What You Will DoThe Territory Manager (TM) serves within the Sales organization reporting directly to their assigned Area Sales Director. The TM is responsible for sales and customer support in their assigned territory. In the performance of their duties, the TM will be responsible for meeting assigned territory sales objectives, developing relationships with physician customers and hospital personnel, and supporting the Region as needed to ensure growth goals are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Regional Sales Manager and to identify and evaluate market opportunities, sales potential by account, and to establish and achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies and tactics by determining the relevant factors (e.g., products, competition, and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote Scientia’s products.
  • Completes a thorough analysis of the territory and identifies key target accounts, while monitoring competitive activities by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager on contracts, pricing, and vendor documentation requirements for hospital and institutional customers
  • Implements and executes the launch strategies developed by the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, while providing product introductions and in-services for customers.
  • Maintains clinical and technical expertise through company training sessions, on-the-job training, educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies. Takes the initiative to expand clinical, technical, and business knowledge.
  • Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing territory sales and customer data as well as sales projections. Can effectively communicate to all levels within the hospital and Scientia Leadership.
  • Complies with all company, hospital/institution, and Advised guidelines for compliance and professional conduct. Understands the business environment and relates experience and knowledge, while exercising independent judgment and decision-making.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Healthcare Degree (such as NP, RN, or RT)
  • Five or more years of sales experience in the medical device industry, specifically interventional devices and preferably within the neurovascular market. In lieu of previous interventional sales experience, at least five years of job experience in a clinical setting involving interventional peripheral vascular or neurovascular devices.
  • Proficiency using CRM tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to complete all credentialing requirements for access to specific hospitals/institutions in the assigned region/territory and stay current with overall and account-specific requirements. Credentialing requirements include criminal background, drug screen, and national sex offender registry checks.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screens including background check with MVR and drug test.

Compensation: Base salary plus excellent commission plan

Location: This is a remote position. Must live in Georgia, Alabama, or Tennessee.
