PurposeThe role of Virtual Support Officer requires a tenacious, highly organised, motivating and innovative individual, able to work in a fast-paced target driven environment to support people with multiple barriers to move into sustainable employment. Our Virtual Support Officers are highly self-motivated individuals who provide flexible cover across a region to participant appointments in times of unexpected or planned absence.

With a positive can-do attitude, they are adept at brokering participant relationships immediately. They possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills that enables them to build rapport quickly and achieve appointment actions with little preparation. Working on a payment by results contract it is essential Virtual Support Officers can work in a fast-paced targeted driven environment, where prioritisation of own workload and exceptional time management skills are demonstrated daily to ensure effective daily diary management, working to deadlines and achieving KPI expectations.

This role is perfect for individuals with proven experience of working in a sales based or highly target driven environment, whilst being people focussed and get real reward in empowering and creating positive change in our participants lives. It requires an individual to be highly flexible and adaptable to provider cover where required and ensure all records are updated.

EssentialYou will have:
\

  • Minimum of 5 GSCEs (A to C) or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in a target driven environment
  • Strong track record of successfully working to targets and KPIs
  • Experience in successfully managing and progressing clients or customers to meet their agreed goals and ambitions
  • Experience of working with external stakeholders in providing exceptional customer progression routes, working with employers or local authorities or health services or voluntary sector organisations
