Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor who can work remotely from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for producing compelling video content across a variety of platforms, including YouTube and social media. In addition to editing, you will manage the video release schedule, ensuring our content is uploaded, optimized, and distributed effectively. You will collaborate closely with our UK-based marketing and creative teams to execute video projects that align with our brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional video content for promotional videos, product demos, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet the brief.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, and sound design to enhance each video’s quality.
  • Upload videos to platforms such as YouTube, ensuring proper optimization (titles, tags, descriptions) for SEO and audience engagement.
  • Manage and schedule video content releases across social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), adhering to a content calendar.
  • Monitor the performance of video content, providing feedback and insights to improve future projects.
  • Ensure videos meet branding standards and are optimized for different platforms and audiences.
  • Work on multiple projects with strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality output.
  • Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation using tools like After Effects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with uploading and optimizing content on YouTube, including SEO best practices and thumbnail creation.
  • Experience managing social media video schedules and using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when collaborating with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and best practices for video compression and online distribution.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on projects quickly.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the telecommunications or tech-related industries.
  • Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing.
  • Experience creating and optimizing video content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools to track performance and adapt content strategies.
