eCornell's Department of Individual Student Enrollment is searching for qualified individuals to join their team as Enrollment Counselors in a number of fully remote positions. The ideal candidate has experience in admissions or enrollment selling online learning services to individual professional or higher education students in a fast paced, metrics driven sales environment. Enrollment Counselors are provided extensive training and coaching to enhance professional development and set you up for success.

What You Will DoAn eCornell Enrollment Counselor contacts potential students to sell online courses, then guides them through enrolling in one of our premiere certificate programs. A successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced team environment that is customer-service oriented. This is a high volume sales and metrics-driven role. As an Enrollment Counselor, you will work with leadership and fellow team members to master all the key basics of the new student qualification/enrollment process and ensure achievement of all individual sales performance objectives. To achieve enrollment goals, you will conduct outreach via multiple communication channels, including cold calling, email, social selling, and utilizing social media to reach potential students. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience directly selling professional online services/courses to individual students.

What You Will Need

  • High school diploma and two years of enrollment, sales, admissions or related experience.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced metrics driven environment. Strong growth and sales orientated attitude. You have a sense of urgency in completing your assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Focused on achieving optimum levels of service while maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to potential and newly enrolling students by using our IMPACT sales process.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to utilize and leverage technology and systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Skills we'd prefer you have: (but it's ok if you don’t!):

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management software (CRM).
  • Prior success working in a goal and metrics driven environment.
  • Direct enrollment, admissions, or sales in eLearning services.
  • Knowledge of the higher education market.
  • Customer service experience.

This position is remote, which means you can be located anywhere within the U.S.
