This is a full-time remote role for Medical Interpreters specializing in Spanish-English language support over Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). The role involves facilitating accurate real-time communication between patients and medical professionals, ensuring cultural sensitivity and confidentiality. Responsibilities include providing simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, accurately translating medical terminology, and delivering high-quality service to ensure clear communication in medical settings.
- Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and Medical Terminology.
- Experience in Translation and Interpreting, particularly in healthcare settings.
- Expertise in Simultaneous Interpretation methods and techniques.
- Strong bilingual fluency in Spanish and English with excellent comprehension and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with cultural nuances and the ability to apply them in professional interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
- Certification in medical interpretation or relevant fields is preferred.
