The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who enjoys building just as much as leading.

You’ll:

Architect and refine the core chat loop
Work across Python, PyTorch, vLLM, HuggingFace
Solve deep challenges around latency, token throughput, and context handling
Steer model alignment using SFT, RLHF, DPO
Shape model personality, behaviour, and quality
Mentor and guide a team of high-performing AI engineers

This role demands a builder’s mindset someone who wants to ship, iterate, improve, and take real ownership.

Ideal Background

You’re likely coming from high-scale consumer AI, conversational AI, creative or roleplay AI, or LLM infrastructure environments. You’ve tackled real problems where millions of users push your models to their limits.

Experience in the following:

LLM, Generative AI, Python, PyTorch, vLLM, Model Alignment, SFT, RLHF, DPO, Inference, High Scale, Latency, Token Throughput, Chat Models, Uncensored AI.

If you’ve shipped production LLMs and solved real-world problems, you’ll feel at home here.

What You Bring

8+ years engineering experience with strong LLM/GenAI focus
Real-world experience shipping LLMs to production at scale
Deep Python/PyTorch and alignment knowledge
Comfort with open-ended, uncensored conversational behaviour
A direct communication style, owner mentality, and the ability to thrive in pace and ambiguity
