Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Senior Manager – GRC Business Intelligence & Operations to be responsible for leveraging data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools to support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) services, initiatives, and operations. This role serves as the bridge between data and decision-making, ensuring that leadership and stakeholders have actionable insights to manage work, risk, ensure compliance, and optimize resource allocations. The individual will partner with other GRC professionals to design and implement dashboards, track key GRC operational performance indicators (KPIs), and provide in-depth analysis to drive informed strategies that align with organizational objectives and service delivery.

Additionally, this role will help deliver the effective execution of GRC initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, tactical schedule development and management, and the leadership of cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. By translating complex data into clear, actionable intelligence and driving successful project outcomes, the GRC Business Intelligence & Operations professional plays a critical role in enhancing efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting automation efforts across the organization.

The Senior Manager – GRC Business Intelligence & Operations reports to the Associate Director – Cyber Security Control and should have strong analytical skills, technical expertise in business intelligence tools, a solid understanding of GRC principles, and demonstrated experience in workstream management. They should excel at communicating complex data in a clear, actionable manner, leading cross-functional teams, and have a proven track record of delivering value for the business in a fast-paced environment.

The role will require organization, executive presence, and the ability to lead through transformation, developing productive and successful partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI to provide visibility into GRC performance, resource capacity, and SLA adherence.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track GRC-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing quality control processes and validating data inputs.
  • Support resource capacity planning by analyzing workload data and forecasting future needs.
  • Partner with GRC stakeholders to streamline data collection processes and ensure alignment with compliance and risk management requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ongoing operations.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data visualization, business intelligence, and GRC analytics.
  • Apply project management principles to guide the successful execution of GRC Operations initiatives, including defining clear project goals, deliverables, and development of tactical timelines.
  • Drive project execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, resolving roadblocks, and maintaining accountability for deliverables.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 7 years experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) being preferred.
  • Experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, with a proven ability to develop dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, data visualization techniques, and data validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through transformation, manage cross-functional teams, and build productive partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certification in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in a leadership role within a GRC function, with a proven track record of driving data-informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in the fields of data analytics, business intelligence, and GRC.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification and/or certified in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent), with demonstrated experience applying Agile principles to enhance collaboration, adaptability, and the successful delivery of initiatives.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
