Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Automation using Cypress, API testing with Postman, and performance/load testing tools. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of web and API-driven applications while working closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases with a strong focus on automation-first testing.
Develop, enhance, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Cypress for web applications.
Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman, including request validation, response verification, schema checks, and error handling.
Conduct load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar, and analyze performance metrics.
Create, manage, and track test cases, test plans, and execution reports using Qase or similar test management tools.
Identify, log, track, and validate defects, ensuring timely closure in collaboration with development teams.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads during sprint cycles, release planning, and regression phases.
Participate in requirement analysis, test strategy definition, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Ensure quality benchmarks are met before production releases, including functional, API, and performance validations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong exposure to both Manual and Automation Testing
.Strong hands-on expertise in Cypress automation for modern web applications
.Proven experience in API testing using Postman (collections, environments, validations)
.Hands-on experience with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, or equivalent
.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
.Experience working in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments with ownership of quality outcomes
.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with US-based stakeholders
