The Healthcare Economics Sr Manager for Cardiovascular will ensure the development and implementation of health economics and reimbursement needs related to marketed, pipeline, and business development products, and leveraging best practices across the Cardiovascular Global Business Unit. Collaborates cross-functionally to execute healthcare economic strategies that drive the Cardiovascular business growth and support the commercialization of products. Responsible for leading and managing third-party partnerships related to payer relations, reimbursement support, and value analysis.

Responsible for leading and managing third-party partnerships related to payer relations, reimbursement support, and value analysis.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Physician & Field Reimbursement Support
- Provide timely responses to inquiries related to field reimbursement for physicians and field team.
- Lead the execution of strategies for payer relations, reimbursement support, and value analysis, focusing on third-party partners (e.g., payers, advocacy groups, professional societies) for the Cardiovascular business.
- Manage relationships with external entities including CMS-level personnel, payer medical directors, and organizations influencing healthcare delivery systems.
- Develop sustainable strategic relationships with professional societies, medical associations, advocacy groups, and trade groups to advance physician reimbursement, treatment guidelines, and coverage/payment for cardiovascular therapies.
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of health economics tools, value dossiers, and reimbursement guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Communications, Legal, Clinical, Regulatory) to align reimbursement requirements and evidence needs.
- Develop and implement regional and reimbursement strategies, including coding (CPT, ICD-10), coverage, and payment tactics.
- Analyze and influence healthcare policy to support medical innovation (HTA, value-based bundled payments, etc.).
- Monitor and communicate the reimbursement landscape and evidence requirements to commercial teams and business strategy leaders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Support quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and education on reimbursement best practices and health policy issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Level of Degree in public health, health economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8 years of demonstrated experience in healthcare economics in working with US payers and providers to support coding, payment, and access for medical devices. Relevant experience in Cardiovascular is preferred. Demonstrated experience managing third-party partnerships and cross-functional teams. Technical understanding of medical device reimbursement and its role in commercialization. N/A Certifications Required Any preferred education, experience, or certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and/or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) certification preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
