Role Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team for a project-based internship. As a Web Designer at GlobiFYE, you will play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of our client's digital presence. This remote internship offers flexibility, as there is no strict deadline for completion. However, once you begin working on a project, you are expected to complete all stages of the design process without interruption.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with our development and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs
Design engaging and responsive web pages that align with client requirements and GlobiFYE’s design standards
Ensure consistent branding and aesthetic appeal across various digital platforms
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders
Implement user-centric design principles to improve website navigation and overall user experience

Qualifications

Strong portfolio showcasing your web design skills and creativity
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and/or Figma
Experience with responsive design and creating designs optimized for various devices
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote setting
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines once a project is started

Duration and Work Hours

This is a 10-week internship with a work schedule of 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Interns are expected to be online and available from 9:00 am to 11:00 am EST for the morning briefing. We encourage you to manage your time efficiently to meet project deadlines and attend team meetings.

Location

This is a fully remote position. Interns can work from anywhere as long as they have reliable internet access and can commit to working during the set hours in Eastern Standard Time. We utilize a variety of digital tools for communication and project management. We believe in flexibility and understand that a remote work environment can be beneficial for our team members.
