Virtual HR Assistant


We’re looking for a Virtual HR Assistant to join our team and support day-to-day people operations. This is an entry-level role, ideal for a student or someone starting their HR career who’s eager to learn, organised, and genuinely passionate about people and HR.

We’re a flexible working environment, and we warmly welcome applications from parents, carers, and anyone who needs working hours that fit around other commitments.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting the HR team with admin and coordination
  • Updating HR trackers and documentation (e.g., onboarding, leavers, training records)
  • Helping prepare HR letters and basic employee documents (templates provided)
  • Scheduling interviews, chasing availability, and keeping recruitment notes tidy
  • Posting roles, screening CVs (with guidance), and coordinating candidate comms
  • Assisting with general inbox management and responding to routine queries
  • Supporting other HR associates on ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
What we’re looking for
  • Interest in HR/People Operations and a willingness to learn fast
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace / Microsoft Office (especially spreadsheets)
  • Ability to handle information confidentially and professionally
  • Reliable, proactive, and happy to ask questions when unsure
Nice to have (not essential)
  • Studying HR, Business, Psychology, or similar
  • Any admin, customer service, or recruitment experience
  • Familiarity with HR systems (not required)
