American Dog Society is the first and only national charity that focuses on the long-term strategy of connecting and educating dog parents to keep families together. Our mission is to lead a community of compassionate and educated dog parents to reduce the number of surrendered or abandoned dogs. ADS's purpose is to support dog parents so that they never feel the need to give up their dog. Our goal is a world where every dog has a loving forever home.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Videography Intern at American Dog Society. The Videography Intern will be responsible for filming and editing videos related to dog care, training, and events. The role will involve capturing engaging content to educate and connect with dog parents and support the organization's mission.
This is an unpaid Internship with the charity. Anyone who gives 200 or more hours will receive the President's Volunteer Service Award once they complete their time.
Qualifications
- Videography and Video Editing skills
- Knowledge of dog behavior
- Experience in creating educational and engaging video content
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Passion for supporting dog welfare and dog parents
- Experience with content creation
- Currently enrolled in a film, media, videography, or related program
