This is a contract-based and fully remote Video Editor role. The Video Editor will be responsible for tasks such as editing raw footage into engaging video content, enhancing visual quality through color grading, and creating dynamic motion graphics. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines, ensuring high-quality visuals, and delivering videos optimized for various platforms.
- Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
- Experience with Video Color Grading techniques to enhance visual aesthetics
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics design
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
- Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote work environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Knowledge of optimizing content for social media platforms is a plus
- A degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field is an advantage
- Previous experience in journalism or news production is highly desirable
