Role: Senior Manager — Value-Based Care Consulting

Engagement: Full-time 1099 independent contractor

Location: Remote with preference for EST

Mission: Lead value-based-care (VBC) projects for Eastwood & Cleef (E&C), combining rigorous PMO discipline with deep healthcare domain expertise.

Candidate Background: Expertise in VBC ecosystem plus experience leading consulting/project-based engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Run end-to-end PMO governance for multiple VBC programs: create integrated project plans, define OKRs/KPIs, maintain risk & issue logs, and deliver weekly executive dashboards.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment: lead steering-committee meetings, stand-ups, and change-management sessions; act as primary liaison between client executives, clinical leads, and internal teams.

Value-Based Care Expertise

Develop and maintain coding, utilization, Stars/quality guides, and workflow playbooks that standardize best practices for physicians, payers, and providers.
Identify operational gaps, design performance-improvement initiatives, and track impact through data-driven KPIs and dashboards.
Produce thought-leadership assets (whitepapers, research briefs, webinars) that enhance E&C’s reputation in VBC.

Team Management

Mentor analysts and consultants, fostering a high-performing, client-focused team culture.

Your Experience

8+ years in management consulting and/or healthcare operations, with ≥5 years focused on VBC, managed care, or risk arrangements.
Experience as a manager-level or higher at MBB/Big4/Niche healthcare consultancy strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MPH/MHA preferred.
Demonstrated success running PMOs or complex projects (defining scope, adherence to timeline, budget, and other metrics).
Proven ability to build operational playbooks and/or clinical workflow standards.
Executive-level communication, facilitation, and writing skills.
Strong analytical toolkit; Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies preferred.
Technical proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
