UX Researcher — Women’s Hormonal Health (AI Product)
About Aravae
Aravae is building the next generation of AI tools designed to honour women’s natural energy rhythms, hormonal patterns, and wellbeing needs.
Our mission is simple but ambitious:
empower women to work, live, and thrive in alignment with their bodies — not against them.
We are currently developing an AI-powered wellbeing tool that adapts to the female cycle. To build a product that truly supports women, we need research that captures their lived experiences, challenges, daily habits, and emotional patterns.
If you’re passionate about women’s health, behaviour, psychology, and user-centred design…
this is your moment. 💫
⸻
✨ About the Role: UX Researcher (Women’s Wellbeing & AI)
We are looking for a user researcher with curiosity, empathy, and a love for understanding how people think, feel, and behave.
You will play a foundational role in shaping our MVP by uncovering insights that guide product design, features, and user journeys.
This role is perfect for someone who:
✔ cares deeply about women’s wellbeing
✔ wants to explore digital health and AI
✔ loves speaking to users and understanding their story
✔ wants to be part of an early-stage startup with big vision
No heavy technical skills needed — just a strong research mindset, empathy, and initiative.
⸻
✨ Your Impact (What You’ll Work On):
🔹 1. Conduct In-Depth User Interviews
Talk to women about their cycle, energy levels, work rhythm, symptoms, stress, sleep, and emotional patterns.
You’ll extract themes and identify pain points our AI can help solve.
🔹 2. Run Usability Tests for Our Product Prototypes
Test early product flows, assess clarity, identify friction, and help the design team refine the experience.
🔹 3. Map Hormonal & Behavioural Workflows
Research the different phases of the menstrual cycle and how they affect productivity, focus, energy, and mood.
Translate this into insights that guide product logic.
🔹 4. Shape the Core User Experience of Our MVP
Help define:
• core features
• onboarding
• daily wellbeing check-ins
• AI-driven suggestions
• notification strategy
• tone of voice
🔹 5. Collaborate Closely With Design & Product
You’ll work side-by-side with:
• the founder
• product designer
• brand designer
Your insights will directly inform design decisions and product direction.
🔹 6. Bring Empathy Into a Tech-Driven Space
This is not a typical UX job.
You will influence a product aimed at emotional wellbeing, balance, alignment, and female empowerment.
