User Engagement Lead – Meme Betting & Crypto Culture


We’re building Belief Market, a social prediction game where winning means being the most popular, not the most correct. Think polls + bets + meme wars.

We’re looking for a strategist-operator who can design and run programs that turn curious users into first-time bettors and keep them coming back. You’ll work in parallel with our growth/outreach lead, owning the game loop: weekly events, volume races, flex incentives, and more.

If you live and breathe Web3 community behaviour, dopamine loops, and cultural timing, then this role is for you. You are a fit if:

  • You’ve bet $100+ on Polymarket, Pump.fun, Rollbit, or similar — and made a meme out of it.
  • You’ve gone viral or farmed clout on CT, Farcaster, or Discord (show receipts).
  • You’ve got sharp takes on what makes people ape into dumb vs. smart markets.
  • You instantly spot which belief memes will trigger tribal FOMO.
  • You know what gets people to click vs. what gets them to commit.
This role is NOT for you if
  • You’ve never bet real money on-chain
  • You rely on a full team of designers, writers, and analysts to run things


Responsibilities

Your mission is to turn new users into loyal repeat bettors.

  • Own the Click → First Bet funnel: build fast-feedback loops to get visitors to place their first bet
  • Design & run ongoing in-app campaigns: leaderboards, challenges, battle events
  • Create viral markets - translate trends into fun meme-driven markets that feel bet-worthy, not just post-worthy.
  • Launch fun recurring programs like daily/weekly market quests
  • Create retention triggers — from social flex mechanics to meme-driven rivalry
  • Collaborate with product, KOLs, and marketing to align timing and emotional payoff
  • Monitor first bet rates, weekly activities, and re-engagement. Iterate fast.
Our ideal candidate

This is a fully remote role; however, we require candidates who work from a stable, permanent location and are not engaged in digital nomad lifestyles, frequent travel, or additional side jobs.


Language Skills

Proficient in English for effective communication, both verbally and in writing. Ability to clearly explain algorithms and thought processes verbally and in written format without requiring AI help.


Experience:
  • 2+ Years in Web3 marketing, operations, or community coordination
  • Deep lurker or builder in Web3, CT, or Twitter drama culture
  • Built or managed community engagement mechanics (contests, leaderboards, social flex)
  • Active participant in meme coin, betting, or prediction platforms (shitcoins count)
  • Proven success designing community loops in Web3
  • Ran activation or retention campaigns in crypto-native contexts
Behavioral Fit:
  • Operationally sharp — ships weekly programs with speed and clarity
  • Strong communicator across product, marketing, and community
  • Have designed your own betting market, token game, or degen mechanic
  • Web3 gambler or prediction nerd who wants to run the game
  • Feels the pulse of the internet: news, memes, politics, and tribal drama
