Job Title: Systems Software Developer (MES)

Pay Rate: $75 to $88/Hr

Duration: 3 Months (temp to hire)

Location: Remote (preferably Mountain/Pacific/Central time)

We are looking for a Systems Software Developer (MES) for Space organization. Our pioneering and inventive spirit has enabled us to be at the forefront of many technological advancements in our nation's history - from the first flight across the Atlantic Ocean to stealth bombers to landing on the moon.

This position will be primarily work from home. This could change depending on business conditions.

Contribute towards Solumina G-Series (G8) to iSeries transition, including defining business processes and new software capability, implementing and managing integration API elements using software configuration management practices
This role is typically designed for software development with a minor amount of system administration or data analytic responsibilities
Analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide software systems
Develop requirements, and workflow, and perform systems analysis
Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities
Establish standards for the development and maintenance of new and existing products
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and meet with team members and users to develop solutions
Provide real-time gathering of inputs from the manufacturing work centers, document and track each item to closure within the requirements of the change control process
Responsible for prioritizing work, and performing work independently and within a team. Ability to receive guidance from senior technical teammates
Represent the organization to other business groups, provide sound technical understanding, and commit to performance within the margins of the system capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or STEM equivalent with 5 Years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters Degree.
Must be able to analyze and validate the performance and validity of interfaces and supporting system software to specified system requirements
Experience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processes
Must be able to share a rotating schedule for ‘on call’ support overnights, weekends, and holidays with other team members
Knowledge of software verification processes and techniques, test reporting, regression testing, and test data analysis
Experience with Relational databases (Oracle, SQLServer) including packages, procedures, and functions
System integration experience
Network Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, TCP/IP)
Strong problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferably Solumina applications
Experience with Database queries and Data mining using an intermediate-level SQL
Knowledge of programming (e.g. Python or JAVA) and Kubernetes framework
Understanding of software INI, UDV, SQL libraries, and familiarity with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket
Experience with ERP systems preferably Deltek Costpoint
Basic understanding of configuration management, process flow, and general manufacturing processing standards
Familiar with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and best practices in server management
Demonstrated experience as a Web application developer is preferred.
Proven experience with Full-stack Java development (Java, JUnit, Java EE, Swing)
Experienced with JaxWs, Restful services experience
Experience with HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON
Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience with modern IDE tools and testing mechanisms (e.g. Eclipse, VsCode)
Experience with Web Server Administration
