Supply Chain Coordinator

Company Description

Surge Supply Co. is building the operating system for how multi-unit chains manage branded packaging.

Since 2019, Surge has grown to power thousands of retail locations nationwide. We help chains eliminate vendor fragmentation, prevent stockouts, and gain real-time visibility into their packaging supply chain.

We manufacture our own premium, sustainable product suite and pair it with operational infrastructure, so multi-unit operators can scale without supply chain headaches.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Supply Chain Coordinator (Los Angeles preferred). This role owns the logistics lifecycle that moves Surge product through the network, from finished goods readiness through freight, warehousing, distributor coordination, and successful delivery.

You will coordinate freight partners, warehouses, and distributors to ensure product moves on time, inventory stays accurate, and order execution stays clean in our internal systems and customer-facing portal.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating international & domestic freight and/or inbound freight movement into our warehouse network
  • Scheduling deliveries and appointments with warehouses and distribution partners
  • Tracking shipments end-to-end and proactively resolving delays or exceptions
  • Ensuring receiving is accurate and inventory updates are reflected correctly in our systems
  • Maintaining clean records across shipments, inventory, and order statuses
  • Building and improving SOPs so execution becomes repeatable and scalable
  • Partnering with our Ops and Tech team to keep operational data accurate inside the platform

This is not a procurement role and not a customer service role. It is a hands-on execution role that makes sure orders actually happen.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in logistics, freight coordination, supply chain, warehouse operations, or distribution
  • Strong knowledge of shipment documentation (BOLs, delivery appointments, carrier coordination)
  • Experience working with warehouse receiving teams and managing inventory-related workflows
  • Extremely detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment with high accountability
  • Experience with TMS, inventory systems, ERPs, or supply chain tools preferred
  • Foodservice, packaging, or multi-location retail/distribution experience is a plus

We’re looking for someone who takes execution personally. If a shipment is late or inventory is off, you don’t wait, you solve it.

Compensation
