Role Description

This is a full-time remote Summer Intern role at HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council. Interns will assist with cybersecurity research, support the development of educational materials, and contribute to various detection, prevention, and response projects. Interns will collaborate across teams, help with data analysis, and participate in technological solutions to prevent cyber threats. The role also includes writing reports, assisting in building presentations, and supporting outreach efforts with industry and law enforcement partners.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Cybersecurity concepts, threat detection, and risk mitigation
  • Research and analytical skills for identifying and interpreting data and security risks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and creating educational content
  • Proficiency in technology tools, including basic programming knowledge, data analysis, and familiarity with cybersecurity tools
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a remote team environment
  • Passion for digital innovation and a commitment to cybersecurity awareness and education
  • Preference given to candidates pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
