Summer Graphic & Video Editing Internship
- Location: Remote
- Hours: 8-10 hours per week
- Work hours must be scheduled between Monday and Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM CT
- Compensation: $18.50 per hour
About the Role
This internship is designed to give promising juniors and seniors studying design or a related field the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world agency experience with a strong focus on video editing and digital content creation.
As a Graphic Design and Video Editing Intern, you will work closely with our team to edit short-form video content and create visual assets used across digital campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
A large portion of this role will involve editing and preparing short-form video content for digital and social media, along with supporting graphics and visual assets that accompany those campaigns.
You will collaborate with our team to produce engaging visual and video content while building your portfolio and developing skills essential to agency work. You’ll also gain mentorship from experienced creative professionals who will provide feedback, guidance, and insights to help strengthen your video editing and design skills.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for social media, websites, and digital campaigns
- Assist with video clipping, formatting, and preparing content for different platforms
- Create supporting graphics and visual assets using Canva
- Support design projects, including presentations, digital graphics, and internal materials
- Ensure brand consistency across video and graphic deliverables
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative planning
Requirements
- Skilled in video editing and short-form video content creation
- Experience creating graphics using Canva
- Ability to work with Canva as a video editing tool
- Must have a portfolio of recent design and video work
- Must have a recommendation from a design professor
- Junior or senior standing in a relevant program
- Prior experience meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects concurrently, and collaborating with a team
