Role Overview
Transcend is looking for a Senior Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Manager to build and lead our integrated communications strategy—spanning earned media, analyst relations, internal comms, and public policy engagement.
In this role, you will drive brand visibility through strategic PR and media programs, strengthen Transcend's positioning in key analyst reports and with target analysts, and mature the company's public policy function to engage on regulatory issues and opportunities aligned to our business. You'll partner across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to amplify company milestones, build executive thought leadership, and ensure communications cohesion across every go-to-market initiative.
This is a remote, Exempt, Full-Time position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. This role reports directly to the Head of Brand & Corporate Communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated PR and media strategy to drive earned media coverage and brand visibility across Tier 1 and Tier 2 business and technology outlets.
- Mature Transcend's analyst relations program, building and maintaining relationships with Tier 1 industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to strengthen Transcend's positioning in key industry reports and evaluations.
- Own and iterate Transcend's corporate narrative, crafting compelling, category-defining stories that resonate across media, analysts, policymakers, employees, and executive audiences, and ensure it is consistently reflected across all communications channels and touchpoints.
- Lead internal communications program to align Transcend's remote workforce, drive cultural cohesion, and ensure consistent executive messaging.
- Mature and manage Transcend's public policy function, engaging on regulatory issues and opportunities in data privacy, AI governance, and related domains.
- Drive communications-led product and company launches, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to amplify milestones through media, analysts, and owned channels.
- Develop and execute executive thought leadership programs, including speaking engagements, bylined articles, and executive social media presence.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and consultants, ensuring alignment with company objectives and ROI on spend.
- Monitor and report on share of voice, media coverage quality, and analyst engagement metrics to continuously refine strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging cohesion across all go-to-market initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, public affairs, or analyst relations.
- Demonstrated track record of securing earned media coverage in Tier 1 business and technology publications.
- Experience managing analyst relations programs and maintaining relationships with firms such as Gartner, Forrester, or IDC,
- Exceptional writing and storytelling ability; capable of crafting compelling narratives for media, analysts, executives, and employees.
- Experience managing external PR agencies or communications consultants.
- Highly cross-functional and collaborative; able to lead without authority in a remote environment.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect communications programs to measurable business outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping clarity around emerging categories and regulatory landscapes.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, data infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or enterprise security.
- Experience with internal communications in a distributed or remote-first organization.
- Background in data compliance, cybersecurity, AI governance
- Experience working in fast-paced start-up or high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision).

- The compensation pay range represents our reasonable expectation for this role. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location.
- This specific range applies to Tier 1 labor markets like the SF Bay Area and New York City; it may be adjusted based on the labor market in other geographic areas and the individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
