As a Software Engineer II, you will design, develop, and enhance the applications that power the Pax8 marketplace. You will work across teams, mentor other engineers, and contribute to creating robust, scalable, and delightful experiences for our partners.
In This Role, You Will
🧩 Build and enhance applications
Design, develop, and code new features that support and scale our marketplace.
🐞 Debug and troubleshoot
Test, diagnose, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
🔧 Improve existing systems
Enhance current software systems to improve performance, reliability, or usability.
🎯 Solve meaningful problems
Analyze issues and deliver effective, thoughtful solutions.
🧑🏫 Mentor engineers
Support and guide Software Engineers on technical approaches and best practices.
📞 Participate in on‑call rotation
Collaborate with others to keep systems stable, supported, and reliable.

📅 Experience
4–6 years of hands‑on experience in software development.
💻 Technical skills
Intermediate proficiency with languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or similar tools.

Compensation
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of:
💰 $125,000 – $160,000, depending on experience.
