Social Media Marketing Manager


About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence and drive engagement across all platforms. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling content, managing our social handles, and growing our community—while driving traffic to our app and events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management: Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook) on a regular, consistent basis
  • Visual Design: Design graphics, images, and videos using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools you’re already familiar with
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our audience, respond to comments and messages, and foster a vibrant community around Plur
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to increase followers, engagement rates, and drive traffic to our mobile app
  • Event Promotion: Create and execute social media campaigns to promote events hosted on our platform, driving attendance and awareness
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports on performance and insights for optimization
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in the events and nightlife industry
  • Brand Voice: Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms that resonates with our target audience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or companies
  • Proven track record of growing social media followers and engagement
  • Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and storytelling
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and reporting
  • Passion for events, nightlife, and community building
  • Experience in the events, entertainment, or lifestyle industry is a plus
