Social Media Manager


Our e-learning client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media Manager to support and scale their organic social presence across both Consumer (D2C) and Business (B2B) audiences.

This is a 3-month, fully remote freelance opportunity.

This role sits within the Organic Social team, partnering closely with the Manager, Organic Social, and working directly alongside the Organic Social Associate. This is a player-coach role. You will own channel-level strategy and performance while actively contributing to content creation and guiding execution across platforms.

What you'll be doing:
-Execute organic social strategy across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Threads
-Own organic KPIs and drive measurable growth through experimentation and optimization across D2C and B2B audiences
-Lead early-stage cross-functional alignment (insights to brief to creative direction) and partner with Creative, Paid Media, Corporate Communications, Product, and Partnerships
-Create and publish platform-native content, including short-form video and captions, while leading editorial execution and providing direction to the Organic Social Associate/ brief content creators 
-Oversee community engagement and moderation workflows, leveraging social listening to identify opportunities and manage sentiment
-Own organic reporting and translate performance insights into actionable optimization strategies
-Identify high-performing organic content for paid amplification and integrate paid insights into ongoing strategy
-Establish and maintain efficient workflows across content production, approvals, publishing, and reporting

What You'll Have:
-3 to 5 years of experience managing social media for a global or national brand
-Experience across both D2C and B2B environments, with strong expertise in TikTok and YouTube growth
-Proven short-form video creation experience (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
-Experience owning performance reporting, analytics, and optimization
-Familiarity with social management tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout, or Hootsuite + utm builders 
-Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands-on execution
