Social Media & Email Marketing Manager - Fine Art


OVERVIEW: I’m a contemporary abstract artist seeking an experienced marketer to elevate and professionalize my digital presence. The focus is Instagram rehab or relaunch, email list growth, and a cohesive online presence that reflects a fine art practice positioned within high-end interiors and design.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Instagram: Develop and run an Instagram strategy (feed, Reels, Stories) that fits the world of contemporary art, art galleries and luxury interiors; advise on whether to clean up my existing account or start a new one; build and manage a content calendar. If remote, I can create raw photo/video; you will handle editing, curation, captions, scheduling, and basic community management.
  2. Paid Ad Strategy: Plan and manage a focused paid social ad strategy (primarily Instagram) to grow the right audience and drive email sign-ups and qualified inquiries.
  3. Email List Growth: Grow and manage an email list of collectors, designers, and art-world contacts (opt-ins, newsletters, simple automations).
  4. Website: Help refresh my website (structure, copy, image curation) and guide basic SEO improvements.


IDEAL CANDIDATE:

4+ years in social/digital marketing, ideally with artists, galleries, design/interior studios, or luxury brands. Strong visual eye and experience creating editorial, minimal grids and Reels. Proven results with Instagram growth and email marketing. Comfortable with Meta ads and basic website/SEO work. Strong writing skills and familiarity with art-world tone.


BUDGET & APPLICATION:

This is a part-time freelance/contract role. Overall annual marketing budget, scope and hours to be set together, commensurate with your experience and agreed upon role.
