Client Overview: Our client, a popular beauty and hair care company, is seeking a Freelance Senior Manager of Brand Marketing to join their team.

This role is remote working EST hours.

Role Overview: As the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, you for managing all aspects of brand marketing, such as strategy development aligned with the company’s overall objectives. You would be responsible for developing strategic brand marketing plans to drive growth and achieve optimal growth targets. The ideal candidate is quantity driven with impeccable attention to detail.

Senior Manager of Brand Marketing Responsibilities:

  • 360 campaign project management; campaigns may include brand initiatives, product launches, brand campaigns, brand partnerships, retailer-exclusive campaigns or other multi-faceted brand programs
  • Support Sr. Director of Marketing on all brand awareness programs and any piloted innovative initiatives.
  • Campaign timeline management and development, launch campaign calendar updates and oversight, and cross-functional meeting ownership
  • Support campaign activations, including but not limited to attending and supporting events or pop-ups
  • Develop a deep understanding of the brand and create responsive content for CSR/brand values marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Lead and develop annual sustainability strategy in line with key Retail partner goals and certifications.
  • Create brand values programming calendar for external marketing and brand awareness; partner with broader Marketing team for always-on strategic integration, ensuring tactics are actionable.
  • Support Sr. Director of Marketing with brand marketing partnership pitching, management and deployment of programs

Senior Manager of Marketing Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of previous work within brand and/or cause-marketing, ideally with a beauty, lifestyle or fashion brand.
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainability and D+I principles at a macro level; understand the competitive landscape and know where to seek innovation and data for each tentpole.
  • Passionate about inclusivity with a deep understanding of hair types and needs for all hair types + textures.
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
