Role Description

This is a full-time remote/hybrid role for a Senior Business Analyst in the Retail domain at Simplain. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, requirements, and communication within the retail industry. Day-to-day tasks include conducting business analysis, functional design, collaborating with stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Analytical Skills, Business Analysis, and Business Process expertise
Ability to lead requirement gatherings and design meetings with executive stakeholders
Strong Communication and Business Requirements understanding
Experience in retail industry processes and systems, especially in the areas of Vendor Onboarding, Item Management, Deals and Promotions and Cost Management
Ability to deliver Business Requirement Documents detailing out Current and Future Process
Ability to deliver Functional Design document and produce use cases
Ability to act as a Functional Delivery Manager to take ownership of the customer account, representing the rest of the Simplain team.
Ability to work independently and remotely
Knowledge of Symphony Retail AI or similar supply chain management systems in the Retail Domain
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
Masters degree in business, industrial engineering or Supply Chain engineering
10+ years of experience in the relevant industry
Proficiency in SQL and Database models
Proficiency in Agile Practices
