Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in elevating our financial operations. You'll provide hands-on support across finance, payroll, tax, and accounting driving impact in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and banking activities.

Job Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in elevating our financial operations. You'll provide hands-on support across finance, payroll, tax, and accounting driving impact in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and banking activities.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
- Accounts Payable - posting of invoices, payables aging reports and payment proposals
- Accounts Receivable - responsible for the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, ensuring they are promptly sent to clients, and maintaining regular oversight of the AR ageing to drive consistent and timely payments
- Processing fortnightly payroll for multiple entities in Australia and overseas
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Managing multicurrency bank accounts
- Data and cost analysis
- Assisting the CFO by ensuring all invoices are correctly approved, allocated and entered
- Assisting the CFO in their tasks and deliverables related to month end processing, reporting, reconciliations, taxation and compliance
- Assisting the CFO with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
- Ad hoc tasks

Skills And Experience
- CPA qualified, with at least 5+ years' progressive accounting experience (preferably in multinational or SaaS/tech environments).
- Proven track record of delivering accurate financial reporting under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive communicator who can confidently work across cultures and time zones.
- At least five years of experience in a Senior Finance role (dealing with Australia, New Zealand, the UK, EMEA and/or the US) is compulsory. Prior experience in a private practice setting will be highly regarded
- Must have excellent written and spoken English, strong communication skills and highly organized.
- Positive work ethic and ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Strong data analysis skills
- Must be proficient in Xero and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Fluent English in reading and writing
- Home-based
- Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
- Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
