Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Accountant. The Senior QBO Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting functions, including financial planning, reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, tax preparation, regulatory compliance, and accounts payable and receivable. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, ensuring process efficiency, and providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making and business objectives. The ideal candidate will also manage accounting software integrations and contribute to the company's consulting and advisory services.


Responsiblities

  • Own full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for multiple Canadian client accounts simultaneously
  • Set up and customise QBO chart of accounts, bank feeds, rules, and
  • third-party app integrations (Dext, Hubdoc, Bill.com, Melio, etc.)
  • Perform monthly and quarterly bank, credit card, and general ledger
  • reconciliations with zero-variance accuracy
  • Handle Canadian GST/HST coding, reconciliation, and filing
  • preparation; PST and QST experience are strong assets
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices
  • processing, vendor payments, and collections follow-up
  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheet reports for client review
  • Support Canadian payroll processing; knowledge of CRA payroll
  • remittances, ROE, and T4 preparation are a strong advantage
  • Lead client onboarding and communication


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years on Canadian client files
  • Master's degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field Solid understanding of Canadian GST/HST.
  • QBO ProAdvisor Certification (active)
  • Excellent English communication — written and spoken Ability to manage multiple client files, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • CPB Canada certification or CPA Canada enrollment is a strong asset


Shift Timing : 8 am to 5pm IST, Mon to Sat

Location: On-Site, Ahmedabad, India

Job Types: Full-time

Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
