Role Summary
You will own new merchant acquisition across mid-market (MM) and enterprise (ENT) brands that run their own warehouses and need fast, reliable cross border DTC and B2B shipping with guaranteed landed costs and full customs risk coverage. This is a direct sales role focused on building and closing high-value merchant pipelines, running multi-threaded sales cycles, and driving global adoption of FlavorCloud.

Role Summary
You will own new merchant acquisition across mid-market (MM) and enterprise (ENT) brands that run their own warehouses and need fast, reliable cross border DTC and B2B shipping with guaranteed landed costs and full customs risk coverage. This is a direct sales role focused on building and closing high-value merchant pipelines, running multi-threaded sales cycles, and driving global adoption of FlavorCloud.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Merchant Acquisition
- Build and close a pipeline of MM and ENT merchants, primarily above $25M GMV
- Target core categories including beauty, health/supplements, apparel, and electronics
- Run structured discovery and build merchant-specific cases tied to global GMV growth, shipping/compliance cost reduction and margin protection through landed cost data
- Drive net new revenue and shipment volume aligned to quarterly and annual targets
- Lead full-cycle sales, from first meeting through contracting and onboarding handoff
- Manage multi-threaded deals with stakeholders across ecommerce, operations, finance, and supply chain
- Build clear ROI, TNT performance, and compliance narratives tied to DDP adoption
- Maintain tight forecasting, stage control, and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce
- Coordinate with Solutions Engineering when technical scoping is required
- Build strong relationships with Director, VP, and C-level leaders across target brands
- Navigate merchant org structures to secure alignment across operations, logistics, and ecommerce
- Work directly with merchant teams on scoping, IOR/EOR needs, HS code workflows, and go-live readiness
- Support clean handoff to onboarding and Customer Success
- Act as a trusted advisor on global shipping strategy, compliance, and cross border economics
- Explain how guaranteed landed costs, IOR/EOR coverage, and global carrier routing improve margins and customer experience
- Identify gaps in merchant workflows and guide them on best practices for scaling global shipping
Experience
- 7+ years of enterprise or MM sales in ecommerce, supply chain, logistics, or SaaS
- Proven track record closing deals with ACV > $250K
- Experience selling into operations, supply chain, and ecommerce leaders
- Comfortable running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong business case development, including margin modeling and operational impact
- Clear and concise communication with Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders
- Ability to drive urgency and navigate long-cycle deals
- Strong project management to coordinate operational and technical inputs
- High energy, self-directed, coachable, and resilient
- Typical cycle: 2–6 months
- Multi-threaded engagement required across operations, finance, and ecommerce
- Solutions Engineering support used when needed for technical or compliance scoping
- Close coordination with operations ensures fast onboarding and time-to-value
- Direct role in winning large merchants that shape our growth
