Rust Developer
LSG | Europe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Rust, build systems, and compiler internals to join our expanding internal infrastructure team.
As we scale our operations and tools, we’re looking for a highly skilled engineer to lead development on critical internal tooling, optimize our build pipelines, and contribute to the reliability and performance of our core developer ecosystem. If you’re passionate about low-level systems, compilers, and efficient build processes, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

• Work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to support scalable, reliable, and reproducible build pipelines
• Diagnose and resolve complex build and toolchain-related issues
• Contribute to cross-language integration (Rust/C/C++) and compatibility solutions for legacy codebases
• Document technical designs, workflows, and diagnostics for long-term maintainability
⸻
✅ Requirements
• Solid understanding of Cargo, Rust compiler internals, and toolchain architecture
• Experience working with Bazel, Blaze, or similar build systems
• Deep knowledge of systems programming, including libc, FFI, and C/C++ interop
• Hands-on debugging and optimization skills, especially in complex, multi-language environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence in driving tasks from idea to implementation
⸻
➕ Nice to Have
• Experience with tools like Copybara or similar for codebase migration/versioning
• Writing patches for legacy system compatibility
• Familiarity with polyglot build pipelines (e.g. Rust + Python + C++)
• Contribution to or experience with compiler development (Rustc, LLVM, GCC)
⸻
🎁 We Offer
• 100% Remote — work from anywhere, stay productive from where you’re most comfortable
• No micromanagement, flat hierarchy, clear processes, and smooth onboarding
• High-impact role in an engineering-led environment with autonomy and respect
• Long-term collaboration with significant opportunities for professional growth
• Above-market salary that reflects your skills and experience
• 21 vacation days + 6 sick days per year + all Ukrainian national holidays
