Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Flight Ticketing Specialist with strong expertise in Sabre / GDS systems to manage international and domestic flight bookings, ticketing, reissues, exchanges, and schedule changes. This role is remote, and we prefer candidates based overseas to provide extended hour coverage and support across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Book, issue, exchange, and reissue airline tickets using Sabre / GDS
- Handle complex multi-city and international itineraries
- Monitor schedule changes, cancellations, and airline updates
- Assist with fare construction and routing options
- Provide fast and accurate support for urgent client flight requests
- Coordinate with airline desks and consolidators when needed
- Ensure ticketing deadlines and fare rules are carefully followed
- Support after-hours and weekend travel needs when necessary
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Sabre / GDS experience (required)
- Excellent knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
- Experience with international travel itineraries
- Strong attention to detail and speed under pressure
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage urgent requests
Preferred
- Overseas-based candidate for broader hour coverage
- Experience working with luxury or VIP travel clients
- Familiarity with consolidator fares and negotiated rates
