We’re building an all-in-one platform for seamless insurance, smart claims, and effortless bill management — and now we’re preparing to launch our first mobile app for Android and iOS. That’s where you come in.


Role Description

You'll be the gatekeeper of quality for Version 1 of the GetCova app and help us establish robust testing processes as we scale. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our quality culture from day one.


What You’ll Do

  • Immediate Focus: Conduct comprehensive testing of Version 1 before launch
  • Establish QA processes and create our testing strategy from scratch
  • Perform end-to-end manual testing of all core features and user flows
  • Set up our initial test automation framework
  • Create and maintain test documentation and test cases
  • Work directly with founders and developers to prioritize and fix critical issues
  • Help define our quality metrics and bug tracking processes
  • Participate in daily standups and sprint planning as we prepare for launch


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience with both manual and exploratory testing
  • Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools
  • Basic programming/scripting skills
  • Excellent bug reporting and documentation skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excited about joining a startup right before launch


Nice to Have

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Familiarity with mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms
  • Understanding of database concepts and SQL
  • ISTQB or similar certification
  • Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems
