About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with a strong foundation in manual testing and proven expertise in automation. In this role, you will help build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks while continuing to apply your deep understanding of manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality product releases.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering bug-free software. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure our applications perform flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications
- Execute manual test cases when necessary to validate complex user flows or newly developed features
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Create, manage, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
- Perform regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using tools like Jira
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and practices
- Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into pipelines
- Support UAT and release validation activities
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#)
- Solid background in manual testing with a deep understanding of QA methodologies
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow is a bonus
