Python Developer – API Integrations (Voice AI Platform)

CloseGPT is an AI-powered voice agent platform helping businesses automate sales, support, and lead engagement. We provide white-label-ready AI employee solutions that integrate into CRMs, phone systems, and client portals. As we scale, we're expanding our ability to integrate our AI employee with other CRM platforms and third part SaaS Apps.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer who specializes in API integrations and backend development. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain seamless integrations between CloseGPT and third-party platforms, ensuring data sync, authentication, and automation flows work reliably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain secure API integrations between CloseGPT and third party apps.
  • Work with REST, Webhooks, OAuth, and JSON-based APIs.
  • Handle real-time data synchronization (CRM records, conversations, lead info, etc.).
  • Develop custom backend modules to enhance automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and implement scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with our product, AI, and frontend teams to deliver complete features.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all integrations and APIs used.
  • Stay updated on third-party API changes and update our systems accordingly.
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Python backend development
  • Strong experience in integrating with third-party APIs (RESTful APIs, webhooks)
  • Proficiency with FastAPI or Flask
  • Familiarity with OAuth2, API tokens, and authentication flows
  • Good knowledge of JSON, HTTP, and Webhook listeners
  • Experience working with asynchronous tasks (Celery, asyncio) is a plus
  • Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines experience
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, testable code
Bonus / Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with CRM platforms APIs
  • Experience with Twilio Voice / SMS or telephony systems
  • Familiarity with AI-based applications or LLMs
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL
