Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Project Manager at SHE Safety and Health Initiative (SHE-SHI). The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing various initiatives led by the organization, ensuring alignment with its mission of empowering women and girls. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, and ensuring the delivery of impactful outcomes. The role also involves streamlining processes, leading a collaborative team of volunteers, and maintaining constant communication to meet project goals.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Project Management and experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects effectively.
Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor tasks, including tracking and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Knowledge in Logistics Management to oversee the efficient flow of materials, resources, and information for project execution.
Experience in Inspection to assess work quality, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively in a volunteer-based environment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Prior experience in nonprofit or women-centered organizations is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
