Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Project Manager at SHE Safety and Health Initiative (SHE-SHI). The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing various initiatives led by the organization, ensuring alignment with its mission of empowering women and girls. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, and ensuring the delivery of impactful outcomes. The role also involves streamlining processes, leading a collaborative team of volunteers, and maintaining constant communication to meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Project Management and experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects effectively.
- Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor tasks, including tracking and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Knowledge in Logistics Management to oversee the efficient flow of materials, resources, and information for project execution.
- Experience in Inspection to assess work quality, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively in a volunteer-based environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Prior experience in nonprofit or women-centered organizations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
