Product Manager I – Results Services (Remote, U.S.)

Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST


ProSearch is partnering with a leading technology company to find an experienced Product Manager I – Results Services for a short-term, full-time assignment. In this role, you will serve as a Product Owner on the development team responsible for enhancing diagnostic result services within a key customer-facing platform used across the U.S.


This is a remote opportunity for a highly motivated and collaborative individual with strong Agile product ownership experience, stakeholder communication skills, and a passion for delivering impactful software solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for two backend services development squads.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize work based on business value and customer impact.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the development team, product team, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Continuously refine the backlog based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs.
  • Ensure that delivered features meet acceptance criteria and deliver value to end users.
  • Support go-to-market planning and release communications in partnership with product marketing.
  • Contribute to competitive analysis and market research to inform feature prioritization.
  • Help ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards across all product iterations.


Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software development environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and bridge technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Strong analytical mindset and focus on customer-centered design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Solid understanding of Agile product development lifecycle.
  • Track record of delivering value through iterative software development.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable managing short-term initiatives with long-term impact


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for managing documentation and product backlogs.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting incident and outage communications is a plus.
