About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Procurement Manager to support wireless infrastructure deployment initiatives across multiple markets. This remote role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in site construction, vendor management, and telecommunications procurement. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional procurement activities related to wireless site construction and network rollout projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and suppliers; negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Maintain deep knowledge of local build standards and permitting requirements.
- Collaborate daily with suppliers to track status, resolve issues, and ensure progress.
- Coordinate with other Regional Procurement Managers and cross-functional teams for unified deployment strategies.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports on procurement progress, cost analysis, and delivery metrics.
- Interact with Customer Account Teams, Project Managers, and Deployment personnel to align procurement with project needs.
- Implement and uphold Health & Safety standards across all regional construction-related activities.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve material shortages, vendor issues, and delivery bottlenecks.
- Support multiple clients and adapt to diverse network topologies including RAN and optical/microwave transmission infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network rollout or construction procurement within the wireless industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure including RAN, optical fiber, and transmission systems.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiations, supplier performance evaluation, and contract compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, as well as collaborating across virtual teams.
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and respond to project demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting national wireless carriers or major infrastructure vendors.
- Familiarity with construction permitting, zoning, and compliance standards.
- Background in managing multi-site procurement portfolios.
