Accountabilities
- Advise on legal areas regarding privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
- Provide solutions-oriented counsel on AI/ML, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Monitor developments in privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance laws.
- Drive internal training on data protection and compliance obligations.
- Develop and refine cybersecurity and data privacy policies.
- 6+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer in privacy issues.
- Experience in providing solutions-focused legal advice.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Deep knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., GLBA, CCPA).
- Experience with governance reviews in privacy and AI.
- Preferred experience in payments or credit reporting sectors.
