The Opportunity


We are seeking a founding President to lead the Athlete & Performance Ecosystem for Auralen Spark.


This executive will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the Spark platform, building partnerships across the sports ecosystem, and helping position Auralen Spark as the leading infrastructure platform for female athlete development.


This role is ideal for a former athlete, sports executive, or athlete development leader who understands the challenges facing female athletes and wants to help build a platform that fundamentally changes the landscape.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the strategic development of the Auralen Spark athlete ecosystem

• Build relationships with schools, athletic programs, leagues, and national organizations

• Develop partnerships across sports, performance science, and athlete development communities

• Help drive capital raising and investor engagement for the Spark platform

• Serve as a public-facing leader and advocate for the Spark athlete development mission

• Work closely with the SEMCOG executive team to shape product strategy and platform growth

• Help design and scale the Spark athlete network and community infrastructure

Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:


• Former professional or elite collegiate athlete

• Sports executive or athletic department leadership

• Athlete development programs or sports foundations

• Professional leagues or sports organizations

• Sports media or athlete representation

• Sports technology or performance platforms

Qualifications


• 10+ years of leadership experience in sports, athlete development, or related industries

• Strong network across the athlete and sports ecosystem

• Experience building partnerships with schools, leagues, or athletic organizations

• Ability to represent the platform publicly and help build the brand

• Passion for empowering female athletes and building transformative infrastructure


Startup or venture-backed experience is a plus but not required.

This is a founding executive role with significant long-term upside.


Compensation includes:


• Equity ownership in Auralen Spark

• Milestone-based salary activation tied to company funding rounds

• Performance-based incentives tied to ecosystem growth and strategic partnerships
