We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy. This 1099 partnership role is telehealth-only. Hometown NP supplies patient referrals, handles intake, credentialing, and administrative operations so you can focus on delivering excellent care.

- Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum one-year service term in the position.
- Provide psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy via telehealth only
- Deliver patient‑centered, evidence‑based care and maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Coordinate with our administrative team for scheduling, billing, and collections (we handle operations)
- Participate in remote provider consult groups and virtual trainings/seminars
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a PMHNP, including psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy
- Master’s or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited graduate program
- Pending or active PMHNP credential in a U.S. state that grants full practice authority to NPs (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA license for the state(s) in which you will practice (or willingness to obtain)
- No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital, or other credentialing body in the past three years
- Reliable high‑speed internet, a private workspace suitable for telehealth, and compliant telehealth technology/telephony
- Commitment to patient‑centered care, professionalism, and collaboration
- This role is telehealth-only and open to clinicians licensed in U.S. states that grant full practice authority for nurse practitioners. If you are licensed in a qualifying state and meet our telehealth credentialing requirements, you may provide telehealth services to eligible patients.

- Most practitioners provide a minimum of 4 clinical hours per week. Have another job, and looking for extra income
- Flexible scheduling is available — part-time telehealth schedules can be accommodated.
- Hometown NP sets clinician availability and patient panel size in coordination with each provider to ensure manageable caseloads and quality care.
- Per-session pay:
- Initial visit (60 minutes): $100 per session
- Follow-up visit (30 minutes): $70 per session
- Add-on for psychotherapy with medication management using 90833: additional $25 per applicable session
- Payout schedule: Direct deposit, monthly.
- No-show/cancellation protection: Hometown NP pays you 50% of your time when a patient no-shows, cancels late.

- Fast-track credentialing with major payors through our partnered CVO (weeks, not months)
- Hometown NP app, with claim MD billing, administrative support: intake, scheduling, billing, and collections (six days/week)
- Transparent insurance reimbursement arrangements designed to benefit providers
- A connected remote provider community with consult groups, seminars, and peer support
- One-year service commitment required. If you leave before completing the first year, you will owe Hometown NP the cost of Credentialing.
- Retention incentive: If you complete the one-year obligation and meet contractual terms, you are eligible for a retention bonus.
