Personal Assistant


Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with 1-hour unpaid lunch) Saturday: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM (flexible)

Time Zone: AEST (Brisbane, Australia)

Total Weekly Hours: 37 hours

Join a family business working in landscaping, property development, recreation, restaurants, and cafés. They’re building a new center combining these areas. You’ll support a hands-on director who values organization and learning—a great chance to grow your skills. We need a Personal Assistant to help the director with scheduling, planning, and managing tasks across different parts of the business and school. This fast-paced role is perfect for someone organized, proactive, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain live work logs for yourself and the director
  • Lead weekly planning sessions every Saturday night
  • Prioritize tasks using an urgent/important matrix
  • Handle admin tasks, research, and create marketing materials
  • Draft professional documents, presentations, and brochures
  • Manage business and academic schedules
  • Stay responsive during work hours via WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.
  • Join daily check-ins for updates and planning
  • Learn and adapt to new tools and systems as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting senior executives or business owners
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of trust, reliability, and discretion
  • Fast learner with an interest in business and tech tools
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Coda, or similar is a plus
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Professional and clear communication style
