We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the smooth running of day to day HR operations. This role plays a key part in delivering an efficient and responsive service to employees and managers, with responsibilities ranging from managing employee records to coordinating onboarding processes and drafting routine HR correspondence.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident handling confidential information and comfortable working with both systems and spreadsheets. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their HR career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and managing the People Services shared inbox ensuring appropriate triage and escalation where needed.
  • Responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the onboarding process by ensuring new starters are accurately set up in all relevant systems, all required documentation is received and correctly recorded and that necessary pre-employment checks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating and tracking DSE assessments and follow-ups, ensuring actions are logged and support provided where necessary.
  • Draft and issue a range of correspondence, including probation outcomes, change of terms and reference requests ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records in our HR system, including employee data, changes to terms, absence records and compliance checks.
  • Manage and maintain HR spreadsheets, trackers and databases, supporting regular reporting and audits.
  • Coordinating and tracking DSE assessments and follow-ups, ensuring actions are logged and support provided where necessary.
  • Draft and issue a range of correspondence, including probation outcomes, change of terms and reference requests ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records in our HR system, including employee data, changes to terms, absence records and compliance checks.
  • Manage and maintain HR spreadsheets, trackers and databases, supporting regular reporting and audits.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline administrative processes and support the implementation of system or process enhancements.

What you need to succeed in the role

Working Arrangements

This is a remote role.

All applicants must be eligible to undergo NPPV3 (Non Police Personnel Vetting Level 3 )and SC vetting clearances. Successful applicants will require NPPV3 clearance to have been cleared before starting with PDS.
