Job Title: Lodging Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Lodging Coordinator is responsible for providing concierge level service to our hotel and client

partners to accommodate their travel needs. They are responsible for intercepting and fulfilling

requests via phone, email, text, and by using a variety of proprietary and industry technology. They

will maintain strong situational awareness, and they will always uphold the mission and vision of

Globeo’s Guest Services team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Intercept, analyze, and take action on all inbound client travel requests via phone, email,

text, and our online platform, always demonstrating kindness and professionalism

● Communicate with hotels, clients, and colleagues to manage expectations and ensure a

seamless experience, always promoting our goal of confirming all same-day items within 20

minutes, and future items within 6 hours

● Escalate complex situations to the appropriate team with a detailed summary

● Foster a positive culture in all our virtual public spaces and with all team members

● Work collaboratively with the team to review and resolve aging items in the Guest Services

team inbox, ensuring all cases are resolved within 72 hours

Qualifications:

● Must have at least one year of hotel or hospitality related experience

● Must have experience and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Slack-based chat software

● Must have a dedicated home office setting with a desk, monitor, headset, and webcam

● Must be extremely detail-oriented

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Ability to navigate across several complex systems to find dynamic information

● Flexible team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in real time

● Ability to effectively manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

● Past travel booking software (Sabre) experience preferred but not required

Shift:

● We are a 24/7/365 team, and our schedule is seniority based. New hires will be required to

work evenings/weekends with more options for flexibility as they progress in their career.

● All shifts are on US Central Time, as we are based in Austin, TX.

Pay Range:

$20 to $22 per hour
