Channel Impact is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our events team. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of Sales and Partner events, supporting logistics, content, environmental design, and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate is flexible, eager to learn, operationally savvy, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
This entry-level role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual looking to build a career in event project management. You will gain practical experience in executive engagement, complex approval workflows, and large-scale event operations within a fast-paced corporate environment.
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Event Operations Support: Provide day-to-day operational assistance to the client's sales kick-off Operations and Content teams, supporting various project needs to ensure smooth execution.
- Executive Meeting Coordinator: Manage onsite schedules and meeting space requests for our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Using our dedicated meeting request tool, ensure all logistical requirements are met.
- Food & Beverage Coordination: Support the planning, ordering, and onsite execution of catering services in partnership with venue and catering teams.
- Content Quality Control: Review and coordinate event content within the event platform and the schedule builder tool. Ensure session materials and communications are clear, consistent, and adhere to specific brand nomenclature.
- Production & Design Liaison: Collaborate with production teams to oversee event signage, materials, and environmental elements, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Sustainability & Inclusion Initiatives: Support our mission to create inclusive and sustainable events by assisting with accessibility and ‘give back’ initiatives under our Positive Impact umbrella. This includes onsite attendee activations that enhance the event experience.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between event stakeholders, vendors, hotels, and venue staff to process auxiliary event requests. Ensure requests are authorized and align to our program guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a central point between multiple internal teams, providing timely updates, clear communication, and consistent alignment on goals and activities throughout the event planning lifecycle.
What you bring:
- 2 - 3 years of experience supporting event operations within the hi-tech industry
- Demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a high degree of initiative and accountability
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and tasks effectively
- Familiarity with event logistics, planning, and execution preferred
- Experience with project management tools, event management software, or related technologies
