Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Non-QM Underwriter. The Non-QM Underwriter will evaluate financial information and documents to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers for Non-QM mortgage and business-purpose loans. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing applications, analyzing risk, verifying compliance with lending standards, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation tailored to investor-focused loan products.

Qualifications

Proficiency in underwriting Non-QM, DSCR, and business-purpose real estate loans
Strong skills in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment
Detail-oriented with the ability to review, verify, and validate loan documentation
Familiarity with mortgage lending regulations and compliance standards
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
Prior experience in real estate lending and underwriting is highly advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred but not required
