Network Engineer

The team is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design and implement network solutions based on specific project requirements. This role involves creating detailed network designs, configuring the necessary hardware and software, and ensuring the network infrastructure meets the needs of the project. Additionally, the engineer will manage and resolve issues from the regular incident queue, providing timely troubleshooting and resolutions. For highly skilled engineers, there is an opportunity to contribute to automation efforts, such as developing new Ansible playbooks to streamline network management and improve operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of traditional routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Layer 3 switching.
  • Expertise in VLAN configuration, inter-VLAN routing, and spanning tree protocol (STP).
  • Familiarity with Cisco ACI (or another SDDC technology), its design, and principle of operation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in automating network tasks using tools like Ansible or Python for traditional and ACI network management.
  • Experience with APIs for automating configurations and monitoring in ACI and other interfaces.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ServiceNow.
