Native AS/400 Technical Lead
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AS/400 Technical Lead to join our team and oversee the full software development life cycle (SDLC)—from conceptual design and requirements clarification to deployment and post-implementation support. This role is pivotal in delivering mission-driven, highly scalable programs that support critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts and CVS Technical Leads to clarify complex requirements and translate them into actionable technical strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Prepare, review, and approve project estimations and comprehensive technical designs.
- System Engineering: Conduct deep-dive analysis and engineer high-quality code, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous review and approval standards.
- Change Management: Manage environment integrity and version control utilizing ALDON activities.
- Quality Assurance: Prepare unit test plans, execute bug fixing, and promote projects through QA and Regression testing phases.
- Deployment & Support: Administer deployment plans, oversee implementation, and provide dedicated warranty-period support post-deployment.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in AS/400 environments, with a proven track record in a Technical Lead capacity.
- Core Languages: 6+ years of expertise in RPGLE and CLLE.
- Development Tools: 6+ years of experience with Synon.
- Change Control: Proficiency in ALDON for software change management.
Domain Expertise
- Pharmacy Services: Minimum 6+ years of experience in Pharmacy Claims processing.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Rxclaim is highly desirable.
