We are seeking a highly reliable Senior Middleware & Infrastructure Engineer, 10+ years of experience to serve as a primary contributor in our Middleware/Web Migration and AMS support team. This role focuses on owning high-volume incident/change management, ensuring 24x7 stability for enterprise applications (including dealer-facing and public websites), driving proactive security/compliance, automating deployments, and supporting critical business transformation initiatives toward cloud platforms (MS Azure, Adobe Cloud) and modern data architectures.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, exceptional problem-solving, timely high-quality delivery, excellent stakeholder collaboration (business/IT managers, vendors), and a proven track record of customer satisfaction and team enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary middleware support for concurrent projects: own deployments, releases, and change management processes for seamless QA-to-Production transitions.
- Manage and resolve high-volume AMS incidents/change requests (daily/weekly) with timeliness and quality; track dependencies and keep cross-team efforts on schedule.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting dealer-facing (e.g., EMDCS) and public-facing websites (e.g., MUSA/OneMazda/MyMazda) to prevent outages.
- Handle security vulnerabilities, patching (OS/product-level), upgrades, and compliance (JSOX, data privacy); participate in alert reviews and trend analysis.
- Administer and optimize middleware environments: IBM WebSphere (incl. Portal), WebLogic, Tomcat; web servers (IHS, Apache, Oracle HTTP); monitoring tools (ITCAM, AppDynamics, JavaMelody, ElasticSearch).
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure tasks, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, wsadmin/Jython, Shell) using Jenkins, TFS/Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with development, QA, vendors, and business stakeholders; deliver resourceful solutions and earn consistent positive feedback.
- Lead/support transformation projects: data governance tools (DvSum/Octopai), MS Azure POCs (AKS, DevSecOps), Adobe Cloud migrations (AEM), eVehicle data platform infrastructure.
- Provide knowledge transfer (KT), training to team members, documentation (proposals, architectures, updates), and maintain professional/corporate standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15+ years in middleware administration, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps/release management in large-scale enterprise settings.
- Deep hands-on expertise:
- Middleware: IBM WebSphere (Portal/wsadmin), WebLogic, Tomcat
- Monitoring: ITCAM, AppDynamics, JavaMelody, ElasticSearch/Nagios
- CI/CD & Scripting: Jenkins, TFS, Python, PowerShell, wsadmin, ANT
- Platforms: Windows, Linux (RedHat), AIX, VMware

- Proven ability to manage high-incident volumes, own critical issues (P1/P2), and resolve high-visibility problems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership/KT skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM WebSphere Admin, Java Programmer) preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Cloud exploration/migration: MS Azure (AKS, DevSecOps), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud.
- Data platforms/governance tools and automotive/enterprise dealer network support.
- Track record of customer appreciation, proactive security wins, and successful project delivery in transformation programs.
